Sylvia était professeur de littérature française à Grand-Sault, NB, Canada, et s'occupait de donner des cours d'art dramatique et d'anglais.

Pendant plus de 25 ans, elle a été une bénévole passionnée pour les associations de patinage artistique du Nouveau-Brunswick et du Canada.

Elle a remporté les prix Comptable national de l'année, Bénévole de l'année (Nouveau-Brunswick) parmi plusieurs autres distinctions.

À Van Buren, elle a été bénévole de longue date avec Friends of the Library, Van Buren Recreation Department, et a participé à la rédaction de la demande de subvention du projet d'embellissement de Van Buren en 1998.

Sylvia was a French Literature teacher in Grand Falls, NB, Canada, and saw to instructing drama and English classes.

For more than 25 years she was a passionate volunteer for New Brunswick and Canadian Figure Skating Associations.

She earned the awards National Accountant of the Year, Volunteer of the Year (New Brunswick) among several other recognitions.

In Van Buren, she was a longtime volunteer with Friends of the Library, Van Buren Recreation Department, and assisted in the grant writing of Van Buren’s beautification project in 1998.
