He had a love of nature beyond compare. He expressed it by doing outdoor activities which included skiing (downhill, cross country, telemark, para skiing), snow shoeing, hiking (searching for waterfalls), mountain climbing, canoeing, kayaking, swi

mming, going on roller blades, going on road blades, wind surfing, sailing, and photography. He took time to do volunteer work as a scout leader and on various occasions for his French community and for the Saint François de Sales parish.

Michel was a dedicated Bell Aliant employee loved by his co-workers and management.

He was a quiet and reserved person always ready to give a helping hand to a friend by introducing someone to one of his sports, by helping a friend acquire computer skills or in any other way he could.
