lived in Saint John, NB for several years before retiring to Quispamsis. Gilles worked at the Irving Pulp and Paper Mill, starting there in his late teens, retiring as an Instrument Mechanic in his late 50’s. Until recently, Gilles was an avid bow

ler, hunter and fisherman who loved the outdoors, camping, singing and dancing. He was a member of the 30 Up Club, Knights of Columbus Council #6770 and St. Mark’s Catholic Church, and volunteered in church ministry. As well, he had volunteere

d as a support person for those undergoing cardiac surgery at the SJRH as well as Meals on Wheels. He was a handyman, and helped many friends and family by repairing their appliances large and small, and enjoyed making things out of wood.
