She lived in Moncton, N.B. and Truro for many years and then moved to Dartmouth to be closer to her family after the passing of her husband, Laurie George LeBlanc.

Rose was a strong and hardworking person throughout her life. She was defined by her determination to meet any challenges that life had to offer. She was sharp when it came to remembering the smallest detail of people's lives and very perceptive

. Rose spent her summers among family and friends at her cottage on the Brule Shore, walking the beach, tending the garden, one of her passions, mowing her lawn and creating memories that her family will cherish forever.
