Jackie était la cofondatrice, ancienne directrice et membre à vie honoraire du Toronto's Jean Tweed Treatment Center; un centre pour femmes avec dépendance à l'alcool et à la drogue. En quittant le centre, elle a travaillé comme coordinatrice à l'

assistance de l'employé chez Shell Canada. À son retour aux Maritimes, elle a continué à travailler chez Shell et chez Corporate Health (Halifax). Elle a aussi travaillé à «Marine Atlantic» Pêches et Océans, ainsi que pour plusieurs institution

s financières.

Durant les années 1980, Jackie a été présidente de la Société de la sclérose en plaques de Moncton et lauréate du chapitre le plus élevé en Atlantique. Elle a également été membre de plusieurs autres associations reliées à son travail.

Durant les 12 dernières années, elle a travaillé pour le Département de sécurité publique à titre de coordinatrice aux services à la victime.

da. On returning to the Maritimes she continued to provide services to Shell and with Corporate Health (Halifax) provided services to Marine Atlantic, Fisheries and Oceans as well as major financial Institutions.

In the mid eighties she served as President of the Moncton Multiple Sclerosis Society, and was presented with the award for the top branch in Atlantic Canada. She was past member of various associations relating to her work.

The last twelve years, she was employed with Community and Corrections/Department of Public Safety as Victim Services coordinator.
