Don started his work career as a sheet metal worker for Bailey’s in Yarmouth where he worked for many years.

Don's love for the ocean caused him to change his career path and become a lobster fisherman.

Unfortunately, due to illness he was forced to retire.

He then went on to take an accounting and bookkeeping course and opened his own business, working from home.

He also worked for I. Deveau Fisheries for many years, for Cape Saint Mary's Boat Builders and more recently for Gary Belliveau Construction
