Après avoir défriché une terre à Lac-à-la-tortue (QC), une infestation de sauterelle aurait dédruit toute sa récolte. Il décida d'aller travailler dans un moulin à Long Point (Maine). Le père Wilfred Lagacé, de passage à Long Point, le convainc u qu'il y avait fortune à faire à Lagacéville. Charles Fortier et Charles Lagacé y déménagèrent. Également, Octave s'y retrouve, mais retourne à Lac au Saumon et éventuellement à Lagacéville. Charles Lagacé, établi à Allainville, est reparti. |
