Rita was a graduate of Moncton High School and worked for many years at Atlantic Blue Cross. Her interests included the theatre group "Stage Door 56", of which she was a very active member. Her career brought her to Ottawa with the Canadian Diplom

atic Service, her posting led her to the Canadian Embassy in Washington, where she met her late husband, Jim Adair. Rita retired in Pt. Orange FL, where she had worked for the Chamber of Commerce as well as the coalitions of homeowners.
