Alfred était un maître menuisier avant de prendre sa retraite et les années précédentes, il a travaillé dans les mines de charbon à Minto, N.-B. Après sa retraite, il aimait travailler le bois, le jardinage, faire la lecture et socialiser, spécial

ement jouer aux cartes avec de nombreux amis et sa famille. Il s'était enrôlé dans l'armée pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale, mais n'a pas servi outre-mer. Il était un ancien membre du Club des vétérants de guerre CNR et membre de la Légion royal

e canadienne #33 de Shédiac.

Alfred was a master finish carpenter prior to his retirement and in earlier years, worked in the Coal Mines in Minto, N.B. After his retirement, he enjoyed woodworking, gardening, reading and socializing, especially playing cards with many friend

s and family. He had enlisted in the Army during World War II, but did not serve overseas. He was a former member of the CNR War Vets Club and the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 33, Shediac.
