Jerry was a well–known figure both in the business and the Boxing world.

He ran several successful businesses in the Moncton area over the last 40 years.

He was an accomplished amateur boxer having had some 70 matches in the 1960's and 1970’s.

He went to the New York State Golden Glove finals, was Michigan State Golden Glove Champion and Ontario Champion.

He also boxed at Expo 67 in Montreal.

Also involved in several other capacities in Boxing, he became Vice President of the Ontario Amateur Boxing association.

Three time President of the Canadian Professional Boxing Federation.

He served on the Moncton Boxing Commission for 21 years being its chairman for 20 of those years.

He was the founder of the National Boxing Authority.

Was a member of the Canadian Boxing Hall of Fame and the Moncton Wall of Fame.

Jerry also served on the City Of Moncton Planning Commission for several years.
