Note

Charles (Charlie) was a man of many talents. He was a machinist by trade but quickly became an expert at any task he undertook. He worked with Xstrata for 17 years, supervised municipal construction projects such the Belledune Recreation Center an

d the extension work at the Belledune Municipal Fire Hall and also had his own machine shop, Bell-Pro Machining. Most recently, Charles worked at the Belledune Arena which gave him the opportunity to combine his work with his love of athletics an

d children.

He took great pleasure in being a member of the Belledune Mooseheads baseball team during his youth, playing horseshoes and curling.

Alongside being very talented with his hands in both a professional and athletic capacity, Charles was also an avid outdoorsman who loved animals. He could often be found fishing at the beach during the summer or in the woods on his ski-doo durin

g the colder winter months.
