Avant sa retraite, Eddie est venu à Blacks Harbor au début des années 1960 pour travailler chez Connor's Brothers où il est devenu plus tard machiniste.

En 1973, il est allé travailler pour Lake Utopia Paper, où il a travaillé pendant 26 ans comme mécanicien de chantier jusqu'à sa retraite en 1999.

Eddie a également travaillé comme assistant funéraire au St. George Funeral Home pendant plusieurs années.

Prior to his retirement, Eddie came to Blacks Harbour in the early 1960s to work at Connor's Brothers where he later became a machinist.

In 1973, he went to work for Lake Utopia Paper, where he worked for 26 years as a millwright until his retirement in 1999.

Eddie also worked as a funeral assistant at St. George Funeral Home for a number of years.
