Note

As a young man he left his home to work and support his family, embarking on a series of adventures he often humbly excused as trivial.

Larry moved up the East Coast of Nova Scotia working numerous jobs.

Some of which included working as an entrepreneur (opening a Fish and Chips shop in Halifax) and travelling across Canada serving on trains.

It was only later in life that he began sharing stories of his past endeavors.

He eventually joined the crew of a ship that repaired telephone cables.

He sailed around the world while managing the affairs of the Captain and ship's rations.

He stopped in places such as New York, seeing the Rockefeller Christmas Tree.

He walked the empty beach shores of Hawaii.

While docked he searched for pineapples for the Captain only to find out it was the off season and even recorded vocals on a record track.
